I notice most of the questions asked of you are about sex and relationships. Not that sex isn’t important- but I really would like to find some unique cookie recipes and tips on keeping the Christmas tree alive for the next couple weeks. Any hints?
Also, how much does it cost to to leave a strand of Christmas tree lights burning for 5 hours?

Dear Show me the Cookies,
Try this cookie recipe, my grandfather used to make them.
Grandpa’s Spicy Molasses Balls
- INGREDIENTS:
1-1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1-1/2 tsp ginger
- PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together except 1/4 cup sugar.
Form one-inch balls.
Coat with remaining sugar.
Place on ungreased baking sheet; bake 10 minutes.
Make sure to cool them completely, you don’t want Grandpa’s balls burning your mouth.

Your tree is already dead, it was probably cut months ago …. so get over it, it’s gonna dry out – there is no magic additive to keep it alive. But this is what Grandpa did after he baked his Spicy Balls …….
Cut a good couple inches off the bottom of the tree, keep the base full of water, and don’t put it in a sunny window or over a heater vent. IMPORTANT don’t keep the lights lit when you’re not around. Statistics say that 14 people die each year from Christmas trees catching on fire, don’t be a statistic.
How much does it cost to keep a strand of light burning for 5 hours? That’s easy 22.5 cents.
